Community Access Services

Social and community participation is a crucial aspect of an individual’s NDIS plan. ScopeAbility recognizes the unique interests of participants and matches them with support workers who possess relevant experiences or interests to aid in their participation in social and community events. The community access support services offered include assistance with grocery shopping, attending medical appointments, and engaging in enjoyable activities such as visiting an art gallery, zoo, fishing, walking in the park, or along the beach.

Transportation can sometimes be a challenge for some participants due to a lack of transport funding in their plan. ScopeAbility is willing to work with these individuals to find a solution to overcome this obstacle and maximize their ability to connect and engage with the community.

This service can be accessed using the core support funding included in a participant’s NDIS plan.
